In Thea St. James' world. The only thing worse than not becoming a Agent in law enforcement, is dealing with her overbearing family. After a failed engagement, she moves to the States where she puts up with the worst human possible, Sawyer Reid.
His narcissism and misogynistic tendencies will put anyone in a coma, unless you're caught under his spell first. Charming, witty and deliciously good looking, what more could Thea want in a peer? Anyone but him, that's for sure.
They hate each other. And why might you ask? Because Thea is the one woman he never managed to be caught under his spell. She saw right through him, from day one. While he racked up numbers in the bedroom, her head was stuck in a book, avoid Sawyer Reid like the plague.
In the first book of the series, Hate you too, we are first introduced to the characters and how their life was different to how they originally planned. Especially Thea's. She was top of her class, graduated with top honors, only to receive not one job offer. Sawyer however managed to land a job as Criminal Prevention Officer at one of the governments best agencies to date, I.C.C.O. (International Criminal Communications Organization.) He climbs up the ranks, and within a year, he is the Head of Criminal Prevention. Alongside some of his friends, James Tucker-Barlow, also known as Tuck who is head of Undercover Ops and Scott Wilkinson, Casualty Prevention Officer.
Thea has always dreamed of working in the field she has trained so hard for, and the opportunity presents itself when Thea interviews for the job of Communications Liaison for I.C.C.O, almost a year after she graduates, and gets offered the job. Working alongside Nancy Robertson, Head of Operations and Ophelia McNeil, Casualty Prevention Officer.
Unbeknownst to her, everyone knows who she is, which is entirely why she got the job in the first place. Thea St. James is the one woman Sawyer Reid will listen to, and unfortunately for him, he's going to have to if he wants to keep his job. But that doesn't mean he isn't going to try and get her fired or at least suspended.
Shockingly, Sawyer gets accused by the Director, Thomas H. Sinclair of leaking documents regarding a undercover operation that Tuck has worked on for the last year. Instead of taking it like a man, letting justice prove his innocence, he runs and in the midst of his escape runs into Thea, who ends up getting caught in the crossfire.
Unfortunately for Thea, her plan of staying as far away from Sawyer as possible, backfires when they are both accused of being criminals and their faces are plastered on every billboard in the city.
What happens when Thea and Sawyer, in order to keep each other alive have to work together? Will they keep each other safe or will they let one of them fall behind?
Hate you too is the first book in the series, Loathe you entirely is releasing 14th of February 2024, and the last book in the series releasing 14th Feb 2025.*
